Ginna and Jeremy’s wedding day at the Malibu Phoenix deep in the heart of Malibu Canyon.
Hillary & Josh’s wedding at the Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, CA.
Tamara and Kevin are so very dear to our hearts. They met at the incredible Twin Lake Village as children and it was only fitting that they return to where it all began to begin again as husband and wife. We were invited in like family to stay in a cabin with the couple and their dearest ones, and our lives will never be the same. This place, and these people… There are no better words to describe the feeling of this wedding weekend than those written on the welcome card to their guests.
“Its been said that TLV isn’t a place, but a state of mind. And you can feel it as you walk the grounds. Time falls away. Schedules cease to matter. Your day is instead shaped by the people and things you encounters you gently go about it. An invitation to someone’s from porch to sit and rock. The chance meeting with a friend on your stroll down to the lake. Shooting stars at night. Hearty breakfasts every morning. Kayak rides with ducks in tow. Books on the dock. Walks through the woods. The laughter of cocktail hour echoing out over the first tee. Maybe you jump into an afternoon tennis match. Or post-dinner shuffleboard game. Or bocce. Or frisbee. Or soccer. Or just end up sitting in the gazebo with a glass of wine and smiling at sunset. Every day is your day here, so enjoy it.
Because the more you love TLV, the more it loves you back. And those fortunate enough to experience its warmth quickly become family. Its the love and comfort that keeps our families coming back year after year. And who knows? Maybe we’ll make a convert out of you.”
Tamara and Kevin, may you always have time to sit and rock together. May the laughter of cocktail hour only be overshadowed by the laugher in your home. May you be continually shaped by one another. And may every day of your marriage be your day.
We love you dearly and we are surely converts,
Micah & Megan
